The 2024 Annual Frosty’s Scramble brought together a full field of 120 players for a day of holiday-themed fun at the picturesque Strawberry Farms Golf Club in Irvine, CA. With growing support from enthusiastic participants and new partners, this year’s event truly captured the spirit of community on and off the course.
The event, founded by Ruben Orosco, curator of OC Golf Blog, has grown into a beloved tradition for Orange County golfers. Looking ahead, Ruben shared, “We’re trying to reach and generate a more regional reach,” emphasizing his vision to expand Frosty’s Scramble to connect with golfers across Southern California and beyond. His focus moving forward is to build on the event’s success while keeping the community-driven atmosphere at its core.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Strawberry Farms, the event showcased the club’s beautiful layout, with its rolling greens, scenic water features, and welcoming atmosphere. Players couldn’t say enough about the fantastic staff, who ensured that every detail—from check-in to the final putt—ran smoothly.
While the event wasn’t about competition, it was filled with festive vibes, creative costumes, and engaging sponsor activations.
