After months of anticipation, the completely reimagined Players Course is set to make its grand debut tomorrow, December 2, with a full media day, ribbon-cutting, first-tee ceremony, and a showcase round featuring invited guests from across the golf and lifestyle world.
The renovation, led by esteemed golf course architect John Fought and supported by the team at Troon, has transformed one of the desert’s most iconic public courses into a modern, strategic, and visually stunning golf experience.

The highly anticipated remodel touches nearly every inch of the course:
- New routing, including the relocation of the 17th & 18th holes across the Whitewater Wash for better flow and improved safety.
- A refreshed 9th hole, moved closer to the clubhouse to enhance convenience and pace of play.
- Complete tee, bunker, and green updates, bringing the course to championship-level playability.
- A shift from par 72 to par 71, delivering a modern layout designed for strategy without losing its fun, resort-friendly DNA.
