Carlsbad, Ca. — What is worst? to miss a two footer in the last hole or to play the wrong ball, get a two stroke penalty and miss the cut by one.
Today the Swiss player Albane Valenzuela while playing the second round of the JTBC Classic presented by Barbasol played the wrong ball and was given 2-stroke penalty. This caused her to miss the cut by one.
Albane posted on her Instagram account asking for help with a new way to mark her ball so she would never have to deal with this again.
Remember to mark your ball and make sure you pay attention before you hit your next shot, it is the players responsibility to make sure they are indeed playing the right ball.
