With 15 of 18 greens in regulation Carlos Ortiz put together a 5-under second round at the Travelers Championship to position himself in the top 20 going into the weekend. His round included a great approach shot on the first hole to secure his first birdie, then rolled a 43 foot putt for another birdie on two, and stuffed a shot on 11 to keep the round going.
Carlos seems to be using everything learned over at Torrey Pines last week for the US Open. Now putting everything together to put together a fantastic second round to set up an interesting weekend at the Travelers Championship.
