When we drive down the 5 South it’s always a great day! This morning we headed to Carlsbad, California to visit Evnroll Putter Co’s Headquarters. Our G Social team member, Ryan was getting fitted for a new putter. Ryan has been investing into his game as of late, getting a swing coach, fitted clubs, and now an Evnroll putter fit for his game. They have many options to choose from and only an hour to work with so we got started.
Our fitter Alan Capistron was the expert Ryan was looking for in search of his new putter. Ryan was set on a blade-style putter, but as the expert, Alan is, he made a couple of tune-ups. He observed Ryan’s putting stroke closely before making any adjustments. Alan made a couple of adjustments to the lie angle(-2) and strengthened the loft one degree higher. The pistol grip is the grip of choice for Ryan and he had his putter done in one hour.
